Staring at the Sun

I have just got back from the Roadtrip of all Roadtrips. I am going nuts at home and figured I would do a blog update since I haven't in a really long time. These are some random pics I had laying around.
Savage Shredding As Always.
This setup is almost impossible to air, no idea how he was doing this.

I went to go watch Zebra and Giraffe at Kirstenbosch a while back. Damn Good!!
It was a radical day, awesome weather, good friends and over 4000 people!!

This guy was just chilling in the sun listening to music and watching the sky. I like his style

This is what he saw. I love the sky. Not enough people watch it.

Consume Less, Produce More

Haven't Updated in a While but Here are Some Recent Shots. Cape Town has Been Having some Great Weather Lately and I have tried to Take Full Advantage at Every Possible Opportunity. Also been Messing Around with Post Processing Lately, I Came to the Conclusion that my Photoshop Skills Suck

Pierre and I Made a Super Rogue Mission to Get this Shot.
It was Definitely an Adventure and Well Worth the Mission.
A Poser Shot of Savage.
Albert helped me use a Car Sun Reflector to even out his face.
It Worked out Pretty Well.
Savage Throwing the B's at a Random Fun Spot.
I Hiked Up Lions Head Recently with my friends OD, Cobus, Albert and Pieter.
It was a Beautiful Day and a Really Fun Mission.

Rocking The Daisies

My friend Pieter told me he wanted to go to Rocking the Daisies Music Festival. I was pretty keen. Then he said we were cycling there, then I knew I was in. Albert and Leon joined in and completed our little group. It was a really enjoyable ride, about 80km's. The Festival was amazing, so many good times. Definitely hitting the next one.

With Pieter around you never have to fear of going hungry.
Prime Chicken Stir-Fry!!!

I didn't go to the festival with the goal of taking any pics. So these are some of the only shots I took from inside the crowd with my trusty 50mm, hence all the peoples heads in the way. I need a zoom lens.

The Dirty Skirts were Ridiculously Dialled.

Early Morning Chill Session After a Good Breakfast.

I went for an early morning Solo Hike, that is the campsite way behind me. Don't Let the Bright Sun Fool You. It was Bitterly Cold at the Top, The Wind literally Cut through my Clothing.

-

This is why events unnerve me,
They find it all, a different story,
Notice whom for wheels are turning,
Turn again and turn towards this time,
All she ask's the strength to hold me,
Then again the same old story,
Word will travel, oh so quickly,
Travel first and lean towards this time.

Oh, I'll break them down, no mercy shown,
Heaven knows, it's got to be this time,
Watching her, these things she said,
The times she cried,
Too frail to wake this time.

Oh, I'll break them down, no mercy shown,
Heaven knows, it's got to be this time,
Avenues all lined with trees,
Picture me and then you start watching,
Watching forever, forever,
Watching love grow, forever,
Letting me know, forever.

Clark Kent Wishes He Rode BMX

We have been slaving really hard at the trails over the last few months. We have had to battle the harsh winter rains and the local neighbourhood rugrats who think the jumps are giant slides.
We got to finally sample the fruits of our labour and it was good.

Not So Quiet On The Coldfront

We took advantage of some good weather this weekend.
Finally.

Death of a Season makes no Reason

This was just a spontaneous shot of Pieter
skating on one of the very rare good days
in Cape Town lately. Winter is no joke.

The Trails have been slayed by the rain.
Luckily the Carpets have saved the faces.

I have been suffering from cabin fever lately.
There was a nice little burst of sun which sort of cheered up
the gloomy mood even though it was rather short-lived.

Mystic Energy Evolution

I have had my fisheye lens for a while now, I absolutely love it. This isn't what I would use a fish for and a lot of people hate pics like this, but you can't deny it gives a dynamic perspective.
The sky changed from the first frame to the third in about 15 mins. Was Pretty cool watching it happen

I got to borrow my friend Adriaan's TLR, this thing is so much fun to use. Can't wait to see how these turn out.

I Went and took pics for my friend JP. He has a few Mustangs. These cars are so sweet. Unfortunately it was a little late and the lighting was a little harsh, but still got some deece pics.

Wimbledon Warrior

Here are some shots of Savage.
He is one of the best guys to take pics of and just hang out with.
Constantly Laughing, Cocky as Hell and Always Up for a Good Time.
